Becca Heitzig of Lincoln ran a new Class 2A meet record of 2:11.77 to win the 800m Run. She came back an hour later to run 5:02.21 to win the 2A 1600m Run.

Heitzig also holds the IHSA State Meet 2A record at this distance with a 2:09.99 time
